Pre ECNL Program

Our Pre ECNL program will give
U11 and U12 players from all clubs an opportunity to train as a team and develop over the year to prepare for the fast-paced competitive level of play in the ECNL. This gives players an opportunity to learn our ECNL system, how we train, and expectations for players who want to pursue playing for Crossfire United ECNL.

Program Overview
Our Pre ECNL program is broken down into three 8-week sessions throughout the soccer year:

  • 1st 8-week session – September to November
  • 2nd 8-week session – November to January
  • 3rd 8-week session – January to March

U11 Players will train biweekly
U12 Players will train weekly

All players will get an ECNL training top and shorts to be used at each practice. This will also serve as the uniform for the March tournament for selected U12 players. All players will have access to the same injury prevention program as our Crossfire United ECNL players. We will provide each player an evaluation sheet after each 8-week session.

Program Cost
U11 - $250
U12 - $350

Program Design
Pre ECNL is designed for players looking to elevate their game within a structured and competitive environment, which is modeled after our ECNL program. The 24-week program serves as an “add-on” to a player’s regular club play. It includes a combination of technical skills and tactical development and awareness. Our goal by the end of the year is to prepare players as individuals and as a team for the quality and speed of play necessary to compete in the ECNL.

The coaching staff will be from our ECNL program and select coaches in the community, who have a track record and passion for developing top female players and teams in the area.

After the last 8-week session we plan to form a U12 Crossfire United Pre ECNL team for a March tournament. This team will be formed from selected players and will have an additional cost for travel and expenses. The tournament we are currently planning for is in Las Vegas.

Program Parameters
Players who did not join the program during the first session will be able to join a later 8-week session over the year. This will give qualified players the chance to join Pre ECNL after the initial period.

Again, our Pre ECNL program serves as an “add-on” to a player’s regular club play. This permits players to remain with their home club, adding elite level training and also have the opportunity to play as a team with their United Elite teammates.

Participation in the Oregon United Elite Program will significantly enhance a player’s readiness for ECNL; however, participation does not guarantee selection for a Crossfire United ECNL.
