Portland Athletic Club and United Soccer Education have teamed up to continue training up to May 4, 2001. We at Tualatin Hills United Soccer Club would like to thank our membership for a successful beginning.

The April session will follow the same schedule as for February and March and will cost $25 ($30 if you are a first-timer or want another training shirt). Please make your checks payable to THUSC.

Tryouts for 2001-2002 U11-U14 teams will be held on May 6th, May 8th, and May 10th at the Tualatin Hills Recreation Center complex at 158th Ave. and Walker Road in Beaverton. Tryouts will be held according to the following schedule:

Sun 5/6	Girls 4pm - 6pm	Boys 6pm - 8pm
Tues 5/8	Girls 5pm - 7pm	Boys 7pm - 9pm
Thurs 5/10	Girls 7pm-9pm	Boys 5pm-7pm

Tualatin Hills United Soccer Club is pleased to announce the opening of the United Education Center at the Portland Athletic Club (formerly Raleigh Hills Racquet Club). The center is open to all current Tualatin Hills United players, all U10 players, and all prospective players for 2001. Players are given the opportunity to play as much or as little as they like in both structured training sessions and in "open play" sessions where players will have the opportunity to play with and against players from different teams within the club. The surface is artificial turf, so say goodbye to mud! Tom Atencio, Director of Coaching and Player Development, along with other members of the Tualatin Hills United staff, will train all teams according to the following schedule:

Monday:
5:00-6:30 Boys U11-U14
6:30-8:00 Open Play for Boys and Girls U15-U18

Tuesday:
5:00-6:30 Girls U11-U13

Wednesday:
5:00-6:30 Boys U15-U18, Girls U14 and U16
6:30-8:00 Open Play for all players and coaches

Thursday:
5:00-6:30 Goalkeeper Training
6:30-8:00 Open Play for Boys and Girls U11-U14

Friday:
5:00-6:30 Girls U11-U12

The United Soccer Education Center is located at 5803 SW Beaverton-Hillsdale Hy (map).

The cost for current THUSC families is $50 per player for the 8 week session, including a Nike/United Soccer Education Center T-Shirt!

THUSC is in search of a qualified volunteer to serve on the Board of Directors as representative to the Tualatin Hills Junior Soccer League. Duties for this position include attendance of both a monthly board meeting and a monthly league meeting. League meetings are the first Tuesday of each month, and attendance by a THUSC representative is mandatory each month. If you are interested in this position, please contact or for more information.
